Came to Platter King after a long day. Ordered their Full Tray of Mixed Meats. Came with chicken, beef, rice and salad. Omg it was a satisfying meal! Generous portion size, great customer service. When the owner saw we have a big party, they provided an order of French fries and some falafels on the house! The salad was fresh with crisp lettuce, sweet tomato slices and pickled onion. We will be coming back for sure!
Delicious food. Falafel wrap and shawarma chicken over a tomato & cucumber salad. Fantastic fast food option that doesn't make you feel like garbage.
Beef Shawarma was really delicious! Prices are really good and serving is fresh. I think this place is the best in North bergen
First timer here. Very nice selection and hit the falafel pita and chicken/rice w salad and sauce. Both hit the spot. Above par pita. Always try the hit sauce and def ask for garlic sauce. I'd put that s on anything. Late nite satisfaction and will have left overs later! Put the fork down.
I crave the NYC hala trucks sometimes and my search continues in NJ to find a similar product. I found the platter king on a delivery website and figured to try it out. I went with the beef/chicken platter and although it was good the meat was a little dry. The flavors were spot on and it looked the part but meat was cooked a little too much. The hot sauce wasn't too hot but it will sneak up on you so be careful with it. I wasn't the biggest fan of the beef shawarma but I will say the pita was good. The positive news is they have quick delivery and reasonable prices for what you get. It is not as good as nyc halal carts but still a solid alternative.
